Prof. Franco Pedreschi Plasencia

I am full time professor and Head of the Department of the Chemical Engineering and Bioprocess of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. My research lines are: (i) Chemical Food Safety; (ii) Compute Vision Applied to Food Technology, (iii) Microstructure and Physical Properties of Food. I have edited in 2013 the book “Chemical Food Safety and Health” together with Zuzana Ciezarova. I have written more than 70 ISI publications (h index 22) in recognized journals related to food science and technology. Finally, I have revised several scientific papers in prestigious ISI journals. Currently, I am also the Director of the CeTA Program.
