Director “Fundación 5aday Venezuela” Author of more than 100 articles and book chapters. Co-editor of five books in the area of food/fruit preservation. Co-authored a FAO Manual on Fruit Preservation. Several international and national research projects coordinated. Leader of a community project “5aday campaigns in schools and communities of Caracas”. Co-editor of the digital project MiradorSalud that covers recent topics on food security, nutrition, food safety, healthy lifestyles, vaccines, public health. Collaborator of the Academy of Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences in Food Security.
