Bojan Šarkanj

Bojan Šarkanj, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the University North, Center Koprivnica, and Head of the Department of Food Technology. He’s focus is on application of mass spectrometry based methods for biomonitoring of mycotoxins and their respective biomarkers of exposure. He has several research stays at Analytic centre, IFA-Tulln, BOKU University (Vienna, Austria) from 2011 to 2018 (16 months in total) and two week at Joint Research Centre, Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (Geel, Belgium). So far, he has received two scientific awards and is an author or co-author of more than 30 publications.
