VISA Information

Netherlands is one of the countries of the so called Schengen Area in Europe. Congress participants need to familiarize themselves with their own applicable visa requirements well in advance of the attending the Congress. Worldwide security regulations often result in stringent visa requirements and can be associated with long visa processing time. The majority of foreign nationals wishing to stay in the Netherlands for up to three months require a short stay visa or Schengen visa (Schengenvisum). Foreign nationals from the EU, EEA or Switzerland as well as some other countries are exempt from the visa. All important information and application for visa forms can be found on the dedicated website of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A guided procedure will help you decide if you need to apply for a visa based on your nationality, country of residence, reasons for your visit and length of stay. If you need a visa for the Netherlands  you will be provided with all the information and forms needed to submit your application.

The Congress organisers will not be able to contact Embassies or Consulates on behalf of any participant and their possible accompanying persons.
