Dr. Theofania Tsironi

Theofania Tsironi holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Public Health and a PhD in Food Engineering. Her principal research is in the fields of quality and shelf life modelling of chilled and frozen food (mainly seafood), packaging, predictive microbiology, nonthermal processing and cold chain management by application of smart packaging (TTI systems, edible coatings). She is CTO and co-founder of SuSea BV, which develops innovative processing technologies for seafood with the aim to provide healthy high quality seafood products, improve safety perception by consumers and reduce waste by increasing shelf life.
