Professor Alejandro Ariosti is a Chemical Engineer with a Master degree in food science and technology, and a post-degree in plastics conversion technologies. He works at the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) of Argentina performing technical assistance on sanitary applications of plastics, and teaches food packaging at public Universities and at the Argentine Packaging Institute. Since 1991 he represents INTI at the MERCOSUR Food Packaging Group. He has been the national coordinator of Iberoamerican food packaging projects, and is author and of several chapters of books on food packaging sanitary and regulatory issues. He is a member of the GHI and its Ambassador in Argentina.
