    The European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG, https://www.ehedg.org) supports food safety through guidelines that promote hygienic design in food production. Their work ensures the development of equipment and processes that meet rigorous safety and quality standards, minimizing contamination risks. EHEDG’s guidelines, training, and certification programs focus on hygienic solutions that enhance food safety, productivity, and sustainability in the global food industry. This workshop will explore the benefits of applying EHEDG hygienic design principles, including improved compliance, operational efficiency, and food quality.
